These terms govern your use of Stringora: String Art Maker ("the app"), published by Hugo Software. By installing or using the app you agree to them.
What the app does
The app creates digital string art: it calculates how threads stretched between nails on a round board could recreate your photo, and renders it as an image and a video. It is not a physical kit, it does not ship anything and it does not provide printable nail templates. Results are an artistic interpretation and depend on the photo you choose.
Your photos and videos
Only use photos you have the right to use (for photos of other people, make sure they agree). You keep all rights to your photos and to the videos you create; we receive no copy of them. Do not use the app to create content that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others or impersonates someone.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app.
Free use
The app is free to download. Every setting is free. Free users can export 3 videos per day; free videos carry a small "Stringora" watermark. The daily count resets at midnight on your device.
Stringora Premium subscription
Stringora Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription that removes the watermark and the daily limit.
- Plans: weekly, monthly or yearly. The price of each plan is shown in the app and in Google Play, in your local currency, before you confirm.
- Introductory offer: new subscribers to the weekly plan may be offered the first 3 days at a reduced one-time price. That price and the regular weekly price that follows are shown before you confirm. After the 3 days the subscription renews automatically at the regular weekly price until you cancel.
- Renewal: every plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- Billing: payment is charged to your Google Play account; all payment processing is done by Google Play.
- Cancelling: cancel any time in Google Play > Subscriptions. To avoid the regular weekly charge, cancel before the introductory period ends. You keep Premium until the end of the period already paid for.
- Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
Prices may change. If a price changes for an existing subscription, Google Play notifies you before charging the new price.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own refund policy. If you believe you were charged in error, contact Google Play support; you may also write to [email protected] and we will help where we can.
Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue features of the app. The app is provided as it is at any given time.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including any warranty that a result will look a particular way or that video creation will work on every device.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hugo Software is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of photos or videos stored on your device. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms; the current version is always available at this address.
