Stringora: String Art Maker turns a photo into a digital string art portrait and an animated video. The user picks a photo from their device (via the system photo picker) or one of the built-in public-domain sample paintings, adjusts the crop (the app detects faces on the device to center the frame), and chooses three settings: number of nails (200, 300 or 400), thread thickness (fine, medium, bold) and density (light, balanced, dense). The app then calculates, entirely on the device, the order in which a single continuous black thread would wrap around nails on a round board to recreate the photo, and shows the threads appearing on a virtual wooden desk scene. The user can export a vertical (9:16) MP4 video of about 30 seconds with sound, showing the threads being woven and a before/after ending with the original photo, then save it to the phone's gallery or share it through the system share sheet. The result is a digital video only; the app does not sell or ship physical kits and does not provide printable nail templates. Monetization: free users can export 3 videos per day with a small "Stringora" watermark; an optional auto-renewing subscription "Stringora Premium" sold through Google Play Billing (weekly, monthly, yearly; the weekly plan may start with a paid 3-day introductory period at a reduced price, then renews at the regular weekly price until cancelled in Google Play) removes the watermark and the daily limit. All settings are free. No ads. No user accounts or sign-in. Permissions: photo access only through the system photo picker for the photo the user selects; saving the exported video to the gallery (Movies/Stringora) on Android 10 and newer without extra storage permission. Internet is used only by Google Play Billing for purchases.
